Bryan Schneider

Senior Managing Director

Bryan Schneider is a Senior Managing Director and Product Specialist at EnTrust Global on the Blue Ocean team. In his capacity, Mr. Schneider oversees Marketing, Client Services, and Investor Relations for this $7+ billion business line focusing on alternative lending to the global maritime industry. Before transitioning to become a member of the Blue Ocean team, Mr. Schneider was a member of the EnTrust Global hedge fund research team, where he was responsible for covering Event Driven and Activist strategies, with primary duties related to sourcing, underwriting and monitoring investments across external hedge fund managers and co-investment offerings. In addition, Mr. Schneider was a voting member of the Investment Committee responsible for overseeing client portfolios, with duties covering all aspects of portfolio management, including investment selection and allocation sizing. Mr. Schneider joined the firm as a Senior Vice President in January 2010 with 10 years of prior experience in the financial services industry. Before joining the firm, Mr. Schneider was a Senior Consultant at institutional consulting firm NEPC. He was a member of the alternatives research group with a primary focus on hedge fund research, where he was responsible for overseeing more than $20 billion of client investments, through hedge fund program design, asset allocation, and manager selection. Mr. Schneider holds a BA in Mathematics from Saint Anselm College and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
